About the station
A major concern of the station is the promotion of the German-Polish cultural scene in our European twin city. Therefore, spoken contributions in Polish will also be broadcast. Events surrounding the European University Viadrina also have a fixed place in the program design. With this clear commitment to Frankfurt (Oder), East Brandenburg is to be further strengthened as a media location. This is reflected not least in the mascot of 91.7 Oderwelle, which is inspired by the coat of arms of the Oder city.
