About the station

Radio Berg broadcasts six hours of local programming daily. This includes the morning show "Am Morgen" (formerly: "Hallo Wach", which airs Monday through Friday between 6 and 10 a.m., and the afternoon program "Am Nachmittag" (formerly: Drivetime) between 4 and 6 p.m. Local news from Radio Berg, including weather and traffic updates for the broadcast area, is aired on the half-hour. On weekends, "Am Wochenende" (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) is part of the local programming. Additionally, Radio Berg broadcasts citizen radio in accordance with legal requirements. This can be heard in the evenings from 8 to 9 p.m. The remaining programming and top-of-the-hour news are provided by the network program provider Radio NRW. In return, Radio Berg airs an advertising block from Radio NRW every hour.
