About the station
Its purpose is to provide a severe weather observation service that extends the reach of the Meteorological Service of Canada by adding a network of volunteer observers and communicators to the tools already in place, thereby relaying reports of severe weather occurrences more quickly and, in doing so, potentially saving lives.
