FSK

FSK is a free, or in other words: non-commercial radio. This means it is neither public-service nor private-commercial. It sees itself as public in the sense of being a transparent and participatory space. An external characteristic of this broadcasting model is its funding through supporting memberships from listeners, who essentially subscribe to the radio. Commercial advertising is excluded from non-commercial radios. At the same time, FSK is a private radio in the sense that private individuals - not companies! - come together for the purpose of organizing radio. However, it is public in the sense of transparency and accessibility at all levels of the project of self-organization and program production.
