When choosing the name, the connection to Pforzheim was meant to be clearly emphasized. Known for its gold and jewelry industry, the city of three valleys (where the Enz, Nagold, and Würm rivers converge at the gateway to the Black Forest) is also known as the "Gold City." What could be more fitting than founding "Goldstadt-Radio"?The Founding:In January 2008, the foundation for "Goldstadt-Radio" was laid. Friends and fellow presenters from the time when both were still broadcasting as hosts at a radio station in Bonn were equally enthusiastic about the idea. At the time of its founding, the following individuals were part of the team: Michael Staab, Mario Rösseling, Vera Radzicki, Rosemarie, and Hans Jürgen Gärtner.
