About the station
Founded in 1981, the independent association Radio Klinikfunk creates and broadcasts a professional, ad-free 24-hour entertainment and information program for the nearly 1,000 patients of HSK. It is funded exclusively through membership fees and donations. The approximately 100 members of the association primarily aim to distract patients from their illness and hospital stay and help them recover faster with their favorite music.
