Radio Oberland

About the station

Radio Oberland is a private radio station based in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. According to the Bavarian Regulatory Authority for New Media (BLM), Radio Oberland offers a music program in the Adult Contemporary format. The station receives world news from the Service Company for Bavarian Local Radio Programs. A regular part of the program includes numerous in-house productions, some of which have existed since the station was founded. These include the morning show "Der Morgen im Oberland," the Sunday "Frühschoppen" featuring Bavarian folk music, and "Radio Oberland PowerPlay," a show in which the games of the local ice hockey clubs SC Riessersee, EC Peiting, and TSV Peißenberg are broadcast live from the stadiums in part.
