SWR 2 - Archivradio

The program is part of the educational programming of the cultural radio SWR2 and can only be accessed via the internet, hence the name: “Der Wissen Doku Kanal im Internet.” The target audience of the program includes “students of higher grades, university students, teachers, professors, and journalists,” as well as “online-savvy radio listeners” with a strong interest in contemporary historical topics. At the end of 2010, SWR2 Archivradio passed the three-stage test, which certified its “public value” according to broadcasting law: The program has a typically public-service orientation and contributes to greater education for the interested public.
