Radio Bochum broadcasts ten hours of local programming on weekdays. This includes the morning show Die Radio Bochum Morgenmacher, which airs between 5 and 10 AM, Radio Bochum am Vormittag from 10 AM to 12 PM, and the afternoon program Radio Bochum am Nachmittag, which airs between 2 and 6 PM. Additionally, Radio Bochum broadcasts citizen radio on its frequencies in accordance with legal regulations. This is aired Monday to Saturday from 9 to 10 PM and on Sundays from 7 to 8 PM. The remaining programming and hourly news are provided by the network program provider Radio NRW. In return, Radio Bochum broadcasts an advertising block from Radio NRW every hour. Between 5:30 AM and 7:30 PM, the local radio station airs three- to five-minute local news every half hour. Additionally, during the local programming on Radio Bochum, local weather and traffic information is broadcast every half and full hour.
