Anyone traveling to South Korea or wanting to understand the culture cannot avoid the K-Pop phenomenon. Songs are mostly sung in Korean, but terms or entire sentences in English are often included. In addition to classic pop music, K-Pop often incorporates elements from genres like rap, soul, R&B, and hip-hop. Nowadays, K-Pop no longer describes a pure music style. K-Pop can be described as a cultural movement that strongly influences the lives of youth in South Korea. K-Pop is not only trendy in South Korea. In recent years, K-Pop bands have also been gaining increasing popularity internationally. Whether it's the Top 100 in Germany or the USA, Korean songs are now frequently found in the charts.
