R.SA is a modern, distinctive radio program for adult listeners in Saxony whose favorite music is the sound of the 80s. These listeners are in the midst of family and professional life and seek inspiration through radio listening to realize themselves, while also optimistically and positively mastering the challenges of everyday life. R.SA was founded in 2003 and is the youngest private radio program in the Free State of Saxony. In the meantime, the station has successfully established itself in the Saxon private radio market. The R.SA Morning Show is an exclusively live broadcast, making it lively and authentic. Hosted by Uwe Fischer – whose voice Saxon listeners have known for 27 years – and his sidekick Lena Mengler, who, with her charm, heart, and wit, is not only a favorite among men but also exudes a lovable down-to-earthness and absolute listener proximity. R.SA is fun and reflects the real lives of its listeners. Topics are consciously presented in real-time to make radio unique in the modern media environment and a topic of conversation. Station campaigns appear straightforward, cheeky, and contemporary, but are still brought on air with a lot of heart and empathy. R.SA achieves an extremely high level of music competence through a music mix specially tailored to the broadcast area for 40-59-year-old Saxons, taking into account both the musical and historically conditioned preferences of listeners in the formerly divided Germany. Through personalities who know the region and its people, music topics are emotionally prepared and touch the audience. The station's biggest listener event is the always sold-out “R.SA Festival” in Schwarzenberg, where tens of thousands of music fans celebrate their idols and are inspired by their favorite station.
