BR-Klassik presents Bayerischer Rundfunk's offerings in the field of classical music on radio, television, and online. The radio program is broadcast daily between 6 AM and midnight. During the remaining time, the ARD-Nachtkonzert is aired, which has been exclusively produced by BR-Klassik since July 4, 2011. Until then, the ARD-Nachtkonzert was created by BR-Klassik only on the night from Thursday to Friday, and on other days by other ARD cultural stations. During the day, BR-Klassik is understood as a music program that can be used both as background and in a concentrated form.
